  • Computational Design and Algorithmic Thinking

Development and application of parametric and generative design methodologies to explore complex architectural forms and spatial systems.

  • Artificial Intelligence in Architectural Design

Integration of AI tools, such as machine learning and evolutionary computation, to enhance design processes, performance evaluation, and creative decision-making.

  • Digital Fabrication and Robotic Construction

Exploration of digital-to-physical workflows, including 3D printing, CNC milling, and robotic assembly for innovative construction techniques.

  • BIM-Based Design and Construction Integration

Use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for the coordination, simulation, and optimization of design, construction, and facility management processes.

  • Form-Finding and Structural Morphogenesis

Research on computational form-finding strategies inspired by material behavior, geometry, and performance-driven design principles.

  • Human-Machine Interaction in Design Processes

Study of interfaces, immersive environments (VR/AR), and collaborative systems to enhance interaction between architects and digital tools.

  • Digital Heritage and Computational Preservation

Implementaion of digital technologies for the documentation, analysis, and reconstruction of architectural heritage using computaional design.

  • Sustainability and Performance Driven Design
